“Dear Gmail Superheroes,
Here are three suggestions I feel would be *extremely* useful!
#1 - Template response
I'm sure a lot of small-business people, press people, and just popular people would love templates - an automatic "reply with template XXXXXX" option. A bonus would be the option for the original sender's name to be put in automatically:Dear {sender},
We understand that blah, blah and are working on it....
Thanks for your concern, {sender}.

#2 - Reply from the address which received the message
Since August 31, I can "send" from other email addresses: Awesome. Also, my other mail accounts forward to my Gmail account. So I'd love it if when I get mail sent to other@isp.com and hit REPLY, the message would be sent "from" other@isp.com. This, for example, would have made it easier to UNSUBSCRIBE from emails sent to other@isp.com. (Which, as a senior in high school, I do a lot of. Stupid colleges!)
#3 - Automatic spell checking option
I would love an option to enable spell-check before SENDing. Often, I'll wonder if I spelled a word wrong, and think, "OK, I'll check before sending." But guess what? I don't usually remember to do so. So when I hit the SEND button, I'd appreciate an automatic spell check (or the option to turn this on)!
UPDATE:
#4 - Feed list sharing between Gmail Web Clips, Personalized Home, Reader, and News
The title says it all. Why should I have to add my favorite feeds three times? It's all Google, after all!
#5 - POP and SMTP access to other accounts through Gmail
Again, the title says it all. Plus, I don't like the fact my Gmail address still is part of message headers (Sent by:) even when I send as an alias. What, then, is the point if I am trying to obscure my true address for reasons such as avoiding spam?
UPDATE (again):
#6 - Conversation updates while being viewed
Sometimes I'll be reading a conversation when someone replies to that same conversation. Currently, their message will not appear in that conversation until it I go to my Inbox and then view the conversation again. (There isn't even a Refresh option in conversation view.) I would like new messages to appear in the conversation more or less immediately after being received.
UPDATE #3
#7 - The ability to highlight important parts of received emails
Just imagine coming back to an email two weeks later, with the important part highlighted from when you read it earlier!
Think about it... it's a winner!”
